| The group consists of members who pay an annual subscription to join.You do not have to be an experienced artist to be a member. All you need is a love of drawing and painting , plenty of enthusiasm and a few basic materials.The group meets once a week on Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm in the Art Room , Grantown Grammar School, during Autumn , Winter & Spring terms.We work individually, with a ‘roving’ in house tutor who will assist and advise as required.About once a month we have a visiting artist along to give a demonstration of their work.Saturday workshops are also arranged , with demos and instruction by professional artists
Exhibitions of the group’s work are held twice yearly , Spring & Autumn , to display the work we have produced. Some work is for sale and part of these proceeds , along with the entrance fees are put into group funds to enable us to be able to carry on as a thriving group New members are always welcome to join – please see the contact page for details. |
